What changed, and when
The record starts on 19 September 2026; what came before is on the product pages. Fixes are listed when someone could have noticed them.

Teams kept apart, a free plan that means it, invoices and a gallery
- Each team’s data, out of every other team’s reach.
- An independent audit found ways for one account to reach another team’s lists, campaigns and settings, and the platform’s shared sending account. All are closed, each with a test that tries again on every change.
- Free means free, and a trial ends.
- A new team starts on the free plan, or tries a paid plan for 14 days without a card; on day 15 an unpaid trial goes back to the free plan, and nothing is deleted.
- An invoice for every paid period.
- Numbered without a gap, with your company’s details, printable on A4 and sent with the receipt. Where Mobile Money does not reach, an installation can take cards.
- A gallery to start from.
- Five layouts in your brand colours and eight ready-written e-mails — newsletter, sale, launch, event, welcome, announcement, “we miss you”, order follow-up — in English and French.
- Nothing lost, and the right hour.
- The editors save as you write and warn before you leave; switching editor no longer empties an e-mail; a campaign scheduled for 11:00 leaves at 11:00 where you are, and one that cannot leave says so.
- A confirmation is a click.
- The double opt-in link opens a page whose button confirms: the security scanners that follow every link no longer confirm in your reader’s place.

Mailers that take a change at once
- A mailer edited is used as edited.
- Every process that sends picks up the new settings before its next e-mail; until now, some kept the old ones until the next deployment.
- The port decides the encryption.
- On 465, TLS from the first byte; on 25 and 587, STARTTLS — whatever the provider calls it. Zoho’s “TLS on 587” now works as typed, and nothing is ever sent in clear.

Six currencies, and a period that warns before it ends
- Prices in six currencies.
- CFA francs (XAF and XOF), naira, Kenyan shillings, euros and dollars, each set in its own currency rather than converted. One payment covers one, three, six or twelve months; nothing renews by itself.
- Three reminders, no more.
- Seven days before a paid period ends, the day before, and the morning it ends, to the billing address and every owner of the team.
- A cheaper Starter, a wider Free.
- Starter at 3,000 FCFA or €5 a month for 2,000 subscribers and 20,000 e-mails. Free goes up to 1,000 subscribers and 10,000 e-mails a month.
- Invitations ask for a role.
- Whoever is invited starts as Writer; sending, exporting and billing are given on purpose.
- The postal address, asked for up front.
- It is among the first steps of a new team, instead of being discovered when a campaign refuses to leave without it.

A campaign says what stops it, and where to settle it
- Each blocker leads somewhere.
- The checks before sending each link to the one place that settles them, and the legal footer is written into the content in one click. A new campaign starts with it.
- Confirmations leave through your mailer.
- Confirmation, welcome and summary e-mails now go through the mailer the team chose for them, not the platform’s.
- Fixes.
- A new API token is shown to be copied; Amazon SES keys are checked when saved, so a browser filling a password into them is caught at once; the SMTP relay accepts an empty sender, as some applications send.

Landing pages, roles and a second pair of eyes
- Landing pages.
- A page per list with an address of its own, a headline, a few lines, an image and the form; it counts its visits and the people it brought in.
- Activity log.
- Every change, every export and every sign-in, with who, what and from where; searchable and exportable by the owners, kept 400 days.
- Writer, and four eyes.
- A role that writes and prepares but neither sends nor exports; and, if the team asks, a campaign leaves only once another member approved exactly what will leave.
- Two-factor for everyone.
- A team can require two-factor authentication or a passkey of every member.
- Connectors, from source.
- n8n, Zapier, WordPress and WooCommerce, with the API they need: who am I, webhooks registered and removed by a scenario, sample events. Not yet published in their directories.
- Two optional helpers.
- A real spam filter’s score (rspamd) in the check before sending, and help with subjects and wording from a model the operator names. Neither is called unless it is configured.

People, events, and deliverability as a trade
- One person, one contact.
- The same address on three lists is one person, counted once by your plan, with typed fields — dates compare as dates — and everything they did.
- Events and revenue.
- Your shop reports orders and abandoned baskets; journeys start from them, segments read them, and an order is credited to the e-mail that earned it.
- Templates in Liquid.
- Filters, conditions and loops as the trade writes them, with a money filter that writes 5 000 FCFA or €12.50 the reader’s way.
- The drag-and-drop designer.
- Columns, images and buttons placed by hand, as a fifth editor beside blocks, Markdown, HTML and MJML.
- A sign-up page and a pop-up.
- Each list has a page Lekalao hosts in your colours and the list’s language, and one line of script shows it as a pop-up on your site.
- Four journeys already written.
- Welcome, abandoned basket, birthday and after a purchase, as drafts in the list’s language; and a funnel on every step.
- Each reader at their hour.
- Lekalao learns from six months of human opens when each subscriber reads, and a campaign can leave at that hour.
- Addresses checked on the way in.
- Throwaway mailboxes and domains without a mail server are refused, with the address the person very likely meant.
- Warm-up, inactivity, DMARC.
- A new mailer grows its volume over twelve days; readers who stopped reading are left in peace; DMARC reports are read for you; and your own relay can sign with DKIM.
- Faster sending.
- E-mails go out in batches of fifty, each written down the moment it leaves, so a restart never sends one twice. A birthday on 29 February is wished on the 28th in other years, in the reader’s own time zone.
