What plugs in, and how ready it is
Some doors are part of the product and run with it. Others are written, tested where they can be, and not yet in the directories where you would look for them. Each one says which it is.
Free up to 1,000 subscribers, no card. Paid plans: 14 days to try.
Part of the product
Ready, and running with it
- REST API.
- Lists, subscribers, segments, tags, fields, events, conversions, imports, campaigns, automations, templates, transactional e-mail and webhooks, described by an OpenAPI document. Idempotency keys, 120 calls a minute per token.
- Signed webhooks.
- Eight events — subscribed, confirmed, unsubscribed, tag added, tag removed, campaign sent, bounce, complaint — each call signed with HMAC-SHA256.
- SMTP relay.
- Any application that speaks SMTP sends through Lekalao, an API token as its password, and every message lands in the transactional log.
- Your shop’s events.
- An order, a basket left behind, a trial started: one call, and journeys, segments and revenue follow.
- Sign-up page, pop-up, landing pages.
- For a website you cannot touch: a page Lekalao hosts for each list, one line of script that shows it as a pop-up, and landing pages with an address of their own.
- Seven sending providers.
- Amazon SES, Postmark, Mailgun, SendGrid, Brevo, Resend, and any SMTP server.
Written, not yet published
Available from source
- n8n.
- A node (add, tag or unsubscribe a subscriber, record an event, send a transactional e-mail) and a trigger on the eight events. It compiles and builds; it has not yet been tried in a real n8n, nor published on npm.
- Zapier.
- Six instant triggers and three actions; the signature check is tested. Not yet in Zapier’s directory.
- WordPress and WooCommerce.
- A form for your pages, a sign-up box at checkout, paid orders and abandoned baskets sent as the events the ready-made journeys start from. Its syntax is checked; it has not yet been tried in a real WordPress, nor listed on wordpress.org.
- Laravel transport.
- MAIL_MAILER=lekalao, and Mail::to()->send() goes through Lekalao and into its log. A Composer package, installed from its source for now; not yet on Packagist.
Ask us for any of them: we send you the source and help you install it. The day one is published, this page says where.
Make, and everything else
Make needs no app of its own: its webhook and HTTP modules talk to the API, and the documentation shows how to check the signature. Anything else that can call an HTTPS address can do the same.
Not there yet
No official SDK: the OpenAPI document is the contract, and a generator writes the client in your language. No connector yet for Shopify, PrestaShop or Stripe. No SMS or WhatsApp sending.
